What Do Pain And Swelling In The Lower Quadrant Indicate?

Hi. Thank you. I fell at the gym about 10 Days ago. Hit my quad on the way down and landed on my chin. Had a moderate concussion for a week and ignored my bruised leg. Now the bruise is healing, though still somewhat hard underneath. But about 4 inches below the bruise my lower quad hurts A LOT. No bruising or swelling but it’s very sensitive to touch or pressure. Hard to get up or out of bed. No problem walking or bending my knee. Why would an area below the bruise hurt way way more than the actual bruise?
