What Do Painful, Colorless Lumps Under The Skin In The Body Suggest?

Hello. I am a 43 year old woman with colorless yet painful lumps under my skin. They are now on every part of my body. Some cannot be felt until an area is pressed on slightly, but when it is pressed on it causes a sharp shot of pain. Some of the lumps, about a dime in size, are softer and can be moved around. Some, however, are hard little lumps about the size of a pea, some smaller. This cause great pain when even the pressure of running water falls on them. Are these anything to be concerned about?
