What Do Painful Pimples On Foot Indicate?

I have a few pimples on the inside of my foot they seem to come and go but are very painful. Also on the outside of the same foot is what I would describe is some sort of hot spot. The skin is pealing and the area is red, seems like it s starting to cave in slightly. I have pictures of need be.
