What Do Purple Rashes Between Buttocks Indicate?

Hi. My husband has been diagnosed with psyrosis and perscribd a perscription cream. Works good, Usually occurs on his arms legs etc. He now has large purple colored blotches between his buttocks. Looks different, What would this be classified as and what is the treatment:
