What Do Rash In Arm Pits Indicate ?

I get this bad rash in the pits of my arms, from time to time. It started last summer working in my garden. The other day it was rather warm and humid outside and I was racking leaves, and latter after I showered, I got it bad. Bright red and some bumps. What is it, and what can I do about it
