What Do Red And Round Skin Spots On Leg Indicate?

I'm a 54 year old male on blood pressure medicine and blood thinner. My question pertains to my left leg only. This is the leg I had blood clots in several years ago but I have had small dry, red, round skin spots on my leg (thigh and calf). The spots resemble a ring worm but have never been itchy. They are all smaller than a dime and less than ten in number. What could this be and is there any home treatment?
