What Do Series Of Bumps From Ears To Neck Indicate?

I have noticed a small series of bumps on my neck, running down from my ear lobes on both sides. I can't see them very well but they feel are the same size small as pimples. I'm 48 and recently (3 months now) stopped taking BCP's so I presumed that may be a result- that caused acne flair up. However, I've never had acne before and the series of bumps is isolated to that area only. I have long hair but wash it regularly, and my skin daily so I don't believe this is a rash or response to oily skin or hair. I'm not using anything new on my skin, in shower or for shampoo. Not sure what else to do but keep it clean.
