I am 41 year old female and had internal ultrasound done 3/9/15 due to being anemic and having heavier cycles the last year or so. Nothing crazy extreme like keeping me from leaving the house or doing normal activities but enough I guess to be having anemia symptoms. I started Iron supplement and felt way way better within weeks. Blood results show normal now, no anemia.Gyno wanted to do ultra sound to rule out fibroids or tumors. Results are as follows....Anteverted, homogeneous uterus, no discrete fibroids seen Endormetrial lining measures 11.4mm, normal trilaminar appearance both ovaries are normal in size and appearance, color flow noted to both no free fluid seen Gyno wants to do biopsy??Wants me to take cytotec 20mcg before procedure to dialate cervix and then biopsy.I have perfect 28 day cycle, no bleeding in between, no pain, no cramps, no clotting, no urination pain and no pain with intercourse. Do you feel it normal to do biopsy?
