What Do Tiny Red Dots On Tip Of Tongue In An Infant Suggest?

My 3 month old daughter has tiny red dots on the tip of her tongue. She has no rashes anywhere on her body so i am assuming it is not hand foot mouth. But she has not been eating well, which i blame on her having a cold. The red dots are freaking me out.
