Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, This what my MRI says. The thin section axial fast spin echo T2 weighted images and the axial spin echo T2 weighted images show a band of hyperintense signal within the substantia nigra in the right of the caudal mesencephalon. The area in question was probably seen on the coronal T1 weighted contrast enhanced images, there is no appreciable abnormal enhancement. The cerebellopontine angle cisterns and internal auditory canals are normal, without evidence of mass or enhancing lesion. The remainder of the brain stem and posterior fossa are normal. The supratentorial brain is remarkable for a solitary punctate focus of hyperintense signal within the left posterior parietal lobe, periventricular white matter (axial spin echo balanced and T2 weighted images #25 and #26). Is all this causing my dizziness? Sorry for the long question and thank you!
