What Does 6mm Calculus In Mid Polar Mean?

I have a 6mm calculus in the mid polar...Is that in the kidney itself or somewhere else? Also, if I ingest some type of citrate, will this help prevent more stones from forming or help the current one dissolve? If this forum costs money, please ignore the above. thanks
