What Does A Bubble Like Feeling In The Chest Indicate?

I have an odd feeling deep in the left side of my chest that feels like carbonation or bubbles. It is not provoked by movement and nothing seems to alleviate it. It lasts for a minute or less and I do not have any pain, spasm or s.o.b. What would this be and is it something that I should see my physician about?
