What Does A Dominant Cyst In My Right Ovary With Normal Uterus And No Signs Of Torsion Mean?

FINDINGS: Uterus is normal in size and echotexture. The uterus measures 7.2 x 4.4 x 6.5 cm. No perceptible fibroids. Normal endometrial morphology. The AP endometrial thickness is 1.8 mm. The right ovary measures 5.3 x 2.3 x 3.3 cm. There is normal appearing spectral Doppler signal with identifiable vascular flow within the right ovary. There is a dominant cystic structure measuring 2.8 x 3.9 x 1.8 cm The left ovary measures 3.1 x 1.4 x 1.8 cm. There is normal appearing spectral Doppler signal with identifiable vascular flow within the left ovary. No enlarged cyst or other parenchymal abnormality. The adnexa is unremarkable bilaterally. No significant free pelvic fluid. Included portions of the bladder are unremarkable. IMPRESSION: 1. Normal appearance of the uterus and endometrial stripe. 2. Dominant cyst in the right ovary measuring up to 3.9 cm. No internal septations or mural nodularity. No surrounding free pelvic fluid. No evidence of ovarian torsion.
