What Does A Hemorrhoid Look Like?

Good evening doc, I have a question pertaining to A Pink thing poking out of my rectum its very small. Is it a hemorrhoid???? As this is new to me . I felt it as I was washing up in shower this morning . I have children and don t know if this is common or something I should investigate with my physician? This does not appear to be a prolapsed bowel. Very unusual nonetheless
