What Does A Lump In Breast Indicate?

Hi doctor. So a few weeks ago my mom got her surgery done on her right breast and found out she has a phyllodes tumor. We are now waiting for her to get her wide excision. But she's been having pain on her left breast. The doctor does know that she has a small lump on the left side and said he'll have a aulter sound for her left side ready within six months. She also realize that the lump on the right side (the one that had the surgery done) is re growing.. Is this all normal? Is there anyway I can help her?
