What does a midline posterior disk herniation at l4-5 mean. MRI also shows abnormal signal involving the herniated portion compatible with radial year. There is elevation of the posterior longitudinal ligament and impingement upon the ventral thecal sac. Mild spinal stenosis. Severe impoundment upon bilateral lateral recesses. What does all this mean?
