What Does A Red Line On The Shin Indicate?

I noticed a red “line” going up my shin from the starting point of cellulitis on my right foot, that I am being treated for with a topical prescription cream after two 10 day courses of Kephlex. A culture revealed a bacterial infection as well as the presence of non MRSA staph, etc. Between the 1st & 2nd course of antibiotics, my right knee became red, slightly swollen and sore. Now, my scrotum is swollen, very itchy and my groin is moist. Dr. Is saying opportunistic jock itch infection. Second opinion please.
