What Does A Red Painful Lump On A Stomach Mean?

Hi doc, at first i touched left side of my tummy and found a little lump which can be pimple but later on it became bigger, it is kinda sore at first then became reddish and itchy, a friend doctor i consulted online told me to take dalacin c 300 for a week, i'm still on my 4th and find the red skin vanishing little by little yet the big lump is still there and if i touched it, it's kinda painful. What will i do with this, do i need a further check up? I'm just worried it it affects my internal organ near my tummy. Please advise. Thank you.
