What Does A Red Rash In Groin Area Indicate?

Hello I have a red mark almost looks like a red stretch mark in between my thigh and vagina area. I just had an ablation two weeks ago but this is no where near were the cuts were. It s itchy and kinda stings and when I poke it it kinda hurts like a bruise.i had put baby powder on it to maybe see if it would help but no luck. It s red all around it. I m not sure if it s just red because I was itching it or what.
