What Does A Scar Inside Nose Indicate?

hello ,my ORL discovered a scar inside my nose upper or middle level...not sure...he ordered a cat scan to see why this scar is in there,,,i have had no injuries,or other nasal operations before....what may have caused this scar,,or and what is he looking for to order a catscan/
