What Does A Small Black Dot In Iris Suggest?

I have a small black dot in my iris and it slightly irritates my eye every time i blink, after a while i get used to it and forget it s there but after having a shower i pinpointed where it was and it won t go away after washing out my eye with water. This has been happening for a couple days.
