What Does A Small Spot Of Spinal Stenosis On L4-5 Indicate?

I have a small spot of spinal stenosis on L4-5 L3-4 some degenerative change. no disc herniation no nerve involvement. Multilevel lumber degenerative spondylosis with compromise of central nerve elements. Disc herniation with mild spinal stenosis T12-L1. Should I stop working? will I make it worse. Is this just part of the aging Process? I am a Nurse.
