What Does A Sore Spot On Buttocks Indicate?

My boyfriend has Mrsa neck sores and has been on Zyvox for 2 weeks. We are intimate. He got a sore butt crack in the hospital and it is still sore. The hospital cream doesn't work. He is diabetic. Now I have a small sore area at top of my butt crack. Could it be yeast?
