What Does A Spongy White Pimple On Neck Imply?

Hi,>I have a spongy, white (looks like there is pus in it but only bled when punctured) thing on the side of my neck that appeared right next to a rather large pimple the other morning. It gives off a burning pain when touched, but I am pretty sure the pain only started after puncturing it several hours ago. I used a needle that I had sterilized by flame to pop it and quite a bit of blood and a bit of clear fluid came out, but it did not shrink in size. What could this be?
