What Does A White Bump On Eye Lid Indicate?

Hello! I have a small but very uncomfortable white bump on the lining of my eyelid..it's uncomfortable to blink..o think it's a pimple but what a strange place to have one there..I just need to know if I should go to the eye docter or not! Please help!!
