What Does Amniotic Band Attached To Baby S Abdomen In Ultrasound Scan Indicate?

This week at a 15 week ultrasound, they detected an amniotic band. It appears to be attached to my baby s abdomen. I will be having another ultrasound in the next week. Im natural very scared, as I don t really understand what this can mean. By reading various articles on the Internet, I ve seen how serious this can be, but I d there a chance that this may not be as serious as I ve read?
