What Does An Inconclusive Pregnancy Test Result Indicate?

Hi my name is ariel i am 22 years old weigh 161 and i am 67in. I was told last year that i had PCOS and after a year of regular monthly periods, my period hasnt show up since Oct. 29, 2014. I went to the doctor yesterday and had a pregnancy test that came back inconclusive. does this mean i am pregnant and there just not enough hcg levels? what else could this mean?
