What Does Atrial Abnormality In ECG Mean While Having High BP?

i am 40 and i had my bp 140/90 and was told to take ecg and lipid profile and troponin-i test all was normal and troponin-i was negative but ecg showed left atrial abnormality and doctor have suggested me bp tablets and as i am obese suggested to exercise and reduce weight
