What Does Blood In Ear And Frequent Ear Sores Indicate?

I just cleaned my ears and found a little blood in one, should i be worried? since being in aspen i do get sore ears allot, its not an ear infection as I tried antibiotics but when the pain gets real bad the only thing that helps is ear candles. What could be wrong with my ears?
