What Does Bloody Nose With A Tissue Hanging From Nose Mean?

Hi, my 5 year old son had a bloody nose this evening. The blood stopped flowing in a couple minutes. Well when I gave him a bath i noticed something hanging out of his nose and so I scooped it up with a q-tip to look at it. It looks like a square peice of body tissue. What could it be?
