What Does Brown Spotting Before Menstrual Cycle Indicate?

Please type your query here...hi my daughter is 15 and she has like small reddish brownish spots the underware size of eye drops she has no pain headaches cramps nothing just that and there is no odd smell can this mean her period will come soon she has never had her period so im very concernd is she normal ? Its been two days with these symtoms can you please help? Thank you
