What Does Bubbles In Vaginal Bleeding Indicate?

Hello, I ve missed my last months period had minor spotting but no period. Today I went to the bathroom and there was blood in my underwear. When I wiped it was bright red with some tiny bubbles. I ve never had this happen before should I be concerned?
