What Does Burning Sensation In The Armpit Indicate?

Yes I have burning or more accurately a feeling as if I have rug burn in my arm pit area. There is no visible redness or irritation however it constantly feels very distressing. It’s under one arm and I have had it about a Week or so. Any ideas what it could be
