What Does Chest X-ray Finding Of Hyperaeration Indicate?
my husband had yesterday a chest xray which showed hyperaeration but no other problems. He has had a cough for a few weeks which led to the xray. He was born 4-15-49 at 12 weeks early and spent the next six months at Duke. He also lived with smokers up until he went to college. He has never smoked but did also work in an environment where some people did and this was up until 12 years ago. He is a dentist and has worked for 40 years some of the early ones without a mask. He has had bronchitis many times over his life and pneumonia twice in the last 10 years until he had the preventative shot. He is not short of breath. Do we need to see a specialist to have this further diagnosed .
