What Does Clear Liquid Discharge From The Ear Indicate?

I had ear a fungus plug vacuumed out of my right ear on Tuesday. My hear is still dull and feels slightly plugged at times. There is a clear to yellow fluid that slowly drips out of my ear canal periodically and sometimes a slight dull pain that eventually goes away. He did not inspect my ear drum after he removed the fungus. He just put powder in my ear to kill fungus and sent me on my way. Will my hearing come back soon?
