What Does Delayed Periods Indicate?

Hi Doc, My wife had hsg test on 10th Feb 2015. we expect next period date on 3rd March.second day of missed period we had perganancy test using tester from home. it was showed negative result but still period is not coming on 16th marth.Almost 14 days late period. Could you please suggest. What we do next step.
