What Does Delayed Periods Post Unprotcted Sex Suggest?

hello doctor me and my girl friend had unprotected sex on 20th Feb she was supposed to be in her periods on 10th March. She had her last periods on 10th Feb. but she is still not in periods. we are very afraid of pregnancy. please advise how can we avoid it
