What Does Diarrhea And Urgency For Bowel Movement Indicate?

I started experiencing weird gastric symptoms after a course of the antibiotic Flagyl. I has this urgercy to go #2 along with diarrhea almost everyday. After a month I'm still experiencing symptoms but theyre not as severe. I also now have a slimy yellow discharge. Any idea what could be causing this?
