What Does Diminished Hearing After A Fall Indicate?

I fell down and landed on my back hard and the back of my head impacted hard on wet ground. This was one week ago and now when I exhale l hear/feel a snapping sound in my right ear and have noticed slight diminished hearing in my right ear. Could this heal over time? I am 60 years old.
