What Does Dots On Inside Of Vaginal Lips Indicate?

Hello, i am a 18 year old female and am sexually active with my boyfriend, yesterday I noticed 5 small dots, almost like from a marker on the inside of my vagina lips. They slowly disapeared over night and now they look like sores and are painful to the touch, what could it be?
