What Does Dryness Of Skin Around Vulva A Week Before Periods Indicate?

Hello,I have been having the same problem every month for quite a few years now and im at the point where I can not cope any more with the sever pain, around a week just before I'm due my period I get very sore and my skin around the vulva cuts like paper cuts quite a few very dry and itches,I have just been tested and told I'm just going on the change,I'm 48.its getting so bad every month I can't cope.please help.louise.
