What Does Elevated Level Of Elastase In Stool Indicate?

I recently had a very detailed stool test done from Genova Diagnostics and they found a level of elastase at 94. The physician told me to take more digestive enzymes. I already take plenty. This makes no sense to me. Does this warrant an appt. with my primary care physician or should I just ignore this value? Arlene
