What Does Elevated Occult Blood In Urine Indicate?

I am experiencing irregular menstrual cycles (about every 2 weeks) even while on my birth control. I also have been having trouble with insomnia, anxiety and I have had a change in my bowel movements. I had blood work done recently and it states that my occult blood in my urine was high. I have an appointment but it s not until the end of the month. I m curious to find out what is going on.
