What Does Gastric In My Throat Mean?

Hi, I went to an ENT Doc to get my thyroid checked as my hair is thining and falling, when he was checking my throat he said that it looks like i have Gastric in my throat, what does that mean? i get dehydrated quite quickly and also find it a bit difficult to swallow at times
