What Does Hard And Fleshy Painful Spot Around The Shin Post A Hit Suggest?

Hi I banged my shin on a rock recently. I can put weight on it fine but it hurts when I touch it. I was just resting my other leg on the spot and it didn t really hurt but now the spot looks a bit misshapen. The spot and the space above it feel hard but the space below it feels fleshy, maybe it s swollen there?
