What Does High Blood Pressure After Kidney Surgery Indicate?

I had a kidney removal way bak in late 80s. At that time, I had very high blood pressure. Post surgery I had a normal life. Last 4 years, I have HBP again. No underlying cause is diagnosed yet. I am 39 now. Can this in any way relate to my previous condition or surgery. I do not have any medical records. My current max np 3 days ago was 190/120.
