My girl friend just came out of a 4 hour surgery they took out a 15.3 centimeter highly vascular cancerous tumor. She begins chemo in 2 weeks. It was connected and they removed the ovaries and appendix. What does highly vascular mean. they also gave her plasma (2 units) is plasma blood?
