What Does It Mean By No Foetal Pole Is Seen Inside The Gestational Sac In An Ultrasound Report?
I am Tpasi Roy from Howrah West Bengal. My last L.M.p was on 4/1/2011.I had intercourse with my husband for planned pregnancy on 17/1/2011.I was very much happy and excited when I made a pregnancy test on 8/2/2011 and found the result positive.I had a heavy bleeding today and consulted my doctor who made an ultrasound. The report of the USG that came was as follows.Uterus is bulky and contains a sing gestational sac measuring 1.32cm*2.54cm.No fetal pole is seen inside the gestational sac as yet.Subchorionic haemorrhage is seen adjacent to the gestational sac.Yolk sac is seen Imp-Threatened Abortion.I want to know what was the actual reason for this matter.Secondly could I have a new born baby still now.
