What Does Loud Pop And Pain In Ear After Blowing Nose Indicate?

My daughter has has a cold for several days. Her head is congested. The doctor gave her some Flonaz. She has been blowing her nose alot. She just blew her nose hard and she said she heard a loud pop and her ear is hurting really bad now. What happened do I need to take her to the doctor?
