What Does Low MCV Count In Blood Indicate?

what does low mcv levels mean in a 2 yr old? she's had many infections (ear, chest and impegego) and been on antibiotics at least half a dozen times and I asked the doctor to check her blood .. results show her mcv count is 67.3 .. more blood was taken to investigate this further but I'm curious to know what this could mean
